The Frontenac County Childcare Centre preschool programs encourage this age group's budding independence by viewing them as competent and capable learners. This in turn helps them to develop compassion, empathy and a sense of community with others in the centre.
The Frontenac County Childcare Centre Extended Day programs share kindergarten classrooms, allowing for a seamless transition from the core day. What better way to instill a sense of belonging and community than sharing resources? Working closely with the core day kindergarten teams allows us to give your child the continuity that will certainly lead to their success in both programs.
The Frontenac County Childcare Centre School Age programs strive to promote physical and emotional well-being amongst our future adults, including a strong focus emphasizing character building. Each month, each of our programs will focus on one character trait and explore its meaning while putting it into practice. Our school age programs also have fun showing school spirit by cheering on the various sports teams whenever possible.
